Update on March Pack Meeting

Hey folks I just wanted to give everyone a update and great news on the March pack meeting

In the place of our normal Belt Loopalooza we have decided to work with Mad Scientists to host an event at our March Pack meeting. They will be coming and and covering some of the items under the Sceince Belt Loop and Pin. We will be paying them for the event/scout so please if you will not be making the March meeting let me know. Hope fully this will be a very fun event for the boys

They will be covering the things below. They provide all the material but it will require some parent helping as they go due to the amount of boys we have.

1. Plant seeds. Grow a flower, garden vegetable, or other plant.
2. Use these simple machines to accomplish tasks: lever, pulley, wheel-and-axle, wedge, inclined plane, and screw.
3. Learn about solids, liquids, and gases using just water. Freeze water until it turns into ice. Then, with an adult, heat the ice until it turns back into a liquid and eventually boils and becomes a gas.
4. Build models of two atoms and two molecules, using plastic foam balls or other objects.
5. Label a drawing or diagram of the bones of the human skeleton.

The only catch is the Pack meeting will be slightly longer. It will still start at 6:30 but it will not end approx 8 pm. More info on this will be coming but I wanted to get this out to you as soon as possibly since we are making the time longer and hopefully everyone can show up with this much advanced notice
