Final Update for Saturdays Pine Wood Derby......

There is a lot of changes so please bear with me on the explanations.

1. Since the Derby races will be timed, we have staggered the start times for the Ranks to make the best use of everyones time..Tigers will start  at 10, Wolves at 10:45, Bears at 11:15 and Webeleos 1 and 2 at 11:45, Powder Puff and the Dad's race will begin after the Webelos races are finished (approx 12:30).

You do not need to come until your allotted time unless you want more time to watch the races or participate in some of the other activities. We will be having some Carnival games activities for the Scouts to play to occupy their time while they are not racing.

2. The Goodwill/Goodturn hanger event will be moved to the end of the race. Each Rank will meet with Darren Westfall as their races are done and he will be passing out maps and the hangers to all participants. This way as soon as your races are done, you can take your hangers and leave if so inclined.

3. Please have the Scouts wear their new Pack shirts if they have received them.

4. Blue and Gold Banquet tickets will be on sale for $5 at the Derby. For those of you who do not know   this is the event where Webelos 2 get their Arrow of Light and become Boy scouts and Webelos 1 move to Webelos 2. This is held in place of one of the Pack meetings later in the year. This is a banquet style event and food is provided.

5. The Den leaders have received a file that has the amount due at the race per Scout. In case you want an exact figure please get with them for the numbers.

6. The awards for the Event will be handed out at the Pack meeting on Monday the 28th
