Dear Scouter/Parent:

The Victory District Pinewood Derby has been changed to “Mi Casa Tamales”, located at 25930 Interstate 10 Frontage Rd.

This is a more secure, kid & family friendly place. There are some pictures attached.

If you haven’t register, please do so today. We would like to be ready for you, but we can’t if we don’t know how many of you are coming. So far we have around 50 participants from the whole District!   Please

join us, it will be fun!!!

If your son already has a derby car; whether he won or not at the unit level, bring him to the District Competition.

Check in is from 8:30 am – 9:30 am. We will start at 10:00 am on the dot.

Bring your own cup, chair and snacks. We will have small plastic cups for sale in case you don’t have one.

Come in class A and wear a t-shirt underneath in case he wants to change.

Alcoholic beverages are sold here, however, no scouting activity allows alcohol. Please don’t buy or drink during the activity.  If you choose to drink afterwards, please change out of your scout uniform first.

We will have races for Tiger, Cubs, Webelos Scouts, siblings and parents. We will accept Webelos that crossed over recently or are about to, since they might have a car already. This can be the last fun activity from Cub Scouts for them!!!

There will be games (rope making, knot tying, four square, basketball and more). Registration is now $7.00.

Your Scout can be the winner of the District Competition and will get recognized at the District Level!

Build your own or just bring the one that you built for the Pack race.

We will have the following recognitions:

Trophies for:

The most original

The most realistic

Best in show

1st , 2nd & 3rd place overall

Ribbons for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place for:
