Important popcorn info...please keep for future reference.

Popcorn Payments
Please ask your popcorn customers to pay by cash or check (check payable to "Pack 903").  For Show & Sell popcorn items, payment should be collected when sold (unless you have run out of the product and the customer is ordering for later delivery). Payment for Special Order items can be collected at the time of sale or when deliver the product.

Extra Show & Sell Popcorn
Some of you asked about getting more Show & Sell popcorn items. I've emailed our Council popcorn representative for when we can start picking up additional popcorn items. We'll keep you posted. Only Show & Sell items (those highlighted in yellow on the order form) are available from Council. The other items are Special Order items because they contain ingredients that could melt. 

Delivery of Special Order Popcorn

Special Order items will be ordered in early November and picked up around 11/18 or 11/19. An email will be sent when/where to pick up your Special Order items.

Still need a Show & Sell kit? Contact me right away! Only a few kits remain. If needed, we will get more kit items from Council.

Do You Need to Sell the Entire Show & Sell Kit?

No! Please, though, be sure to return unsold popcorn right away so other Scout families can fill their Show & Sell orders. While the Pack can get more popcorn from Council, we are limited on how much we can return without a commission penalty. Therefore, it is best to redistribute unsold popcorn within the Pack rather than get it from Council.

 
While Pack families have until the October 26th Pack meeting, you can start returning unsold popcorn as early as the September 28th Pack meeting. Just bring unsold popcorn, order form and money collected with you. More on popcorn returns later.

Bass Pro Shop Booth: Saturday, October 24th 9am-1pm

Our Pack has the opportunity to sell popcorn as a group at Bass Pro Shop at the Rim. An email will go out to Pack families in early October to sign up for time slots. Scouts will divide the booth sales based on time worked.

 Prizes

Council has weekly drawings for Scouts who sell $600 or more. See Bonus Prize Program section at http://www.alamoareabsa.org/popcorn.

This year, Trails End is doing gift cards instead of toys based on amount of popcorn each Scout sells. See order form flyer for details.

The Pack will have trophies for the top 3 popcorn selling Scouts. In addition, the Pack will have two Popcorn Blitz months. The top 3 sellers for Sept (sale date 9/12-9/28) and October (sale dates 9/29-10/26) will receive a prize. Just bring a copy of your Scouts order form for the particular Blitz month to the monthly Pack meeting.

Have fun selling popcorn! More popcorn commission means less expense for Scout families and more fun activities for the Scouts!
