Pack Meeting Format Changes

Hey Parents as previously stated we have a new format for the Pack meetings. Here is the outline of these changes so you can plan accordingly. We will try this out for the first few months and see how it goes, but this is being done to hopefully have the Scouts more engaged at the meetings.

First we will be having the Scouts sitting on the floor which will allow for less horseplay with the chairs and also allow for faster/easier setup up and clean up.

The meetings time and activities are also changing as outlined below:

* 6:30-6:40        Flag Ceremony
* 6:40-6:55        Gathering Activity – we will try to make these more fun, but we changed the                                                time to allow more Scouts to participate
* 6:55-7:05        Announcements
* 7:05 – 7:15     Skit – we will only be doing 1 skit/meeting
* 7:15-7:30        Activity Based on Monthly Theme such as Responsibility – each Den will                                                  be required to do one of these as arranged by the Den Leaders
* 7:30-7:40        Badge Pass out – Badges will only be given to Den leaders, unless it’s a Special                                        Badge like the Nova. These will be called out. Den Leaders please hold badges till                                        the end of the meeting
* 7:40-7:45        Clean up by all
